Dan Nicholl is best known for catching up with assorted celebrities each week on primetime The Dan Nicholl Show.
But Dan’s also mildly obsessed with wine, and has written and spoken about it extensively.
In 2016 Dan broke the South African auction record for a single bottle of wine, selling the maiden offering of the Touch Warwick cabernet sauvignon for a staggering R1.3-million. Although certainly not an expert, Dan collects and tastes wine extensively, and has a simple philosophy on wine: a good bottle is one that you like, and a bad bottle is one that you don’t.
Dan Really Likes Wine is an online show that picks up the light-hearted approach and easy manner for which Dan is known, and introduces a wide of range of (mostly) South African wine from Dan’s cellar at his home in Johannesburg.
Looking to take some of the intimidation away from wine, and celebrate wine from across the spectrum of taste and price, Dan Really Likes Wine introduces a new episode every Tuesday morning.
